Setting up a new station.

Managing Stations

A Station represents a physical location where your router is installed. Setting up stations allows you to organize your network infrastructure geographically.

How to create a station

1. Access the Stations page

Navigate to Stations in the sidebar menu, then click the Create a new station button in the upper right corner.

Empty stations dashboard

2. Enter station details

Complete the station creation form with relevant location information and settings.

Create station form

After successful creation, you'll be directed to the stations dashboard where you can view and manage all your stations.

Stations dashboard with data

From this view, you can track your routers and revenue at a stations level.

Managing Existing Stations

You can modify a station's details or remove it through the Stations settings panel. Simply select a station and use the edit or delete options available.

Important Limitation

Stations with active routers cannot be deleted! You must first reassign or deactivate all routers at a location before removing that station.

Customizing Hotspot Pages

Each station can have its own customized hotspot login page to match your branding needs:

Customize hotspot interface

You can adjust colors, logos, and messaging while maintaining a consistent theme across all your stations. If you do not have a logo, our AIRFibers logo will be used instead.

Best Practice

Setting up separate stations for each physical business location provides valuable insights through:

  • Location-specific revenue tracking
  • Performance comparisons between sites
  • Customer usage patterns by area
  • Targeted marketing effectiveness measurement
