SMS and Email Configurations
Setting up the necessary details for your Email and SMS
Communication Setup (Optional)
Enable automated notifications to keep your customers informed about:
- Payment confirmations
- Package expiration
- Service updates
- Network maintenance
Navigate to the Settings tab then Integrations tab to set up:
SMS Integration
The supported providers are BlessedTexts, Mobitech and AfricasTalking. The required credentials for using either of the APIs are:
- API Key
- Username
- Sender ID
SMS
The API information is optional when using BlessedTexts. One can use AIRFibers credentials as default. When a message is sent, it will be sent with AIRFibers as its name and not your business name.
Once configured, one can navigate to the Campaigns tab in the dashboard and you will be able to create SMS messages and send.
To create and send emails, click the send email button in the email tab.
Email Integration
To configure your own SMTP server API, you will need the following credentials:
- SMTP server address
- Port
- Username
- Password
- From email address
The API information is optional. One can use AIRFibers credentials as default. When an email is sent, it will be sent with AIRFibers as its name and not your business name. Extra charges will also be provided if SMS limit will be exceeded.
Note
While this step is optional, we highly recommend setting up at least one communication channel for better customer service and automated notifications.
Once configured, one can navigate to the Campaigns tab in the dashboard and you will be able to create emails and send.
To create and send emails, click the send email button in the email tab.
